I'm still new at this and I don't know how much of what to write and since I haven't told anyone that I know that I have a blog I'm pretty sure nobody's reading it anyway. I am feeling on the verge of telling my cousins (you know who you are if you're reading this) because they have blogs and are the main reason that I have decided to try it... they say I might like it. Since I see that these are used in an effort to keep up with people and stuff, I feel like there should be something new to say. However since I blogged yesturday I'm not too sure that there really is anything new at all.
hmmm... It snowed today, mostly last night and this morning but Gabriel was excited because in the mind of a 2 1/2 year old snow= Christmas. I had some explaining to do. Time is a complicated subject to grasp at that age. Upon further discussion with him I can tell you that he figures he's on Santa's good boy list and he will be getting one hundred toys and presents, primarily a train set.
I am learning the names of the people that I am meeting these days which is nice instead of being Mrs. soandso's mom I know that her name is Allison and she has her own life outside of her kids when possible. There are others too but they haven't got many exciting stories that I feel like sharing just yet. Would you really want to hear more about peoples kids anyway? I'm bad enough when it comes to my own kids I shouldn't need to talk about kids all the time. There must be more to life. Just not for me for a while longer. I love my boys and that's not a bad thing.
We set up our Christmas tree in November which is a first for me but the timming was right. We will be busy next week with my mother-in-law and step-sisters-in-law coming for a visit on the weekend and with life in general no doubt.
Michael's news is that he is growing like a weed and sleeping like an angel baby at night (6to 8 hours). As any parent knows sleep is EXTREMELY precious.
I now need to put munchkins to bed but if you are reading this I have told you about it it's because I want to keep in touch with you and want this blog to work.
Missing you all (you know who you are)
Mer
I write what I want, so look out! If you don't like what you are reading there should be a red X in the top right of your screen just click on it.

Later, might mean now

So hmm.. last time I thought I'd be right back at this trying to keep up with things but, with the boys being what they are (little kids) I haven't had any time. Chris received his results for his UFE on friday and unfortunately they were the same as last year "competency not yet achieved". It's been really hard for him, he was sure he'd have it this time, he will have one more chance to write it again next fall. The idea of annother unpaid summer off for studying is not very appealing to any of us. If it were a little bit paid and not so much studying maybe it would sound like fun but it's hard work.
My older sister Jenn was in town with her kids and that also added to not having anytime to do anything. We ususally have a good time and hang-out all together this time was more stressful with the addition of Michael and his needs that need to be met immediately. She only sayed with us for 3 nights and then decided that she sould stay elsewhere for the remainder of her visit. We went with the kids to the Vancouver Aquarium and had a good time. I will try to post a picture to go with this if I can remember how to do it. (Incase you didn't know Jenns kids are 5 this January and 2 last August). We also had a nice visit with our Grandma, who incidentally has too many breakables at arms length and within reach of curious toddlers and preschoolers.
Beyond all that life is pretty much the same day in and day out.
Maybe more time for this will present itself later and I can fill in more blanks but for now the kids are calling and so is the laundry.... fun and goiod times. M

Hi I'm new here
So, here I am trying out this blogging thing that I know other people do. I'm not excatly sure what to say and where to begin. I guess some background information might be a nice way to start. My name is Meredith I am married with 2 children Gabriel, 2 1/2 and Michael 2 months. my husband's name is Chris and we have been married for 3 1/2 years but we have been togehter for 8 1/2. I am a full time mother and most days I like it that way. I have 3 sisters, no brothers, a niece, a nephew, a mother, and a father, (who are divorced since practically before I was born) 7 aunts, 6 uncles, too many cousins and one grandma. I think I'll leave it at that for now and get on with my day.
