I have strong opinions, I am a TAURUS what did you expect? I will speak my mind freely, this is me deal with it.
- Formula really is poison for babies, there is no good reason why you shouldn't be able to breastfeed until a time that suits you and your baby to stop, WITHOUT going to bottle of formula. The excuses of poor lactation, no support, not home for baby, preemie, are COP OUTS! I have read enough to know that you can overcome ALL of this and more if you want it badly enough.
- Children are meant to be in car seats in the car, in the back seat, for safety for reasons. I know you are probably thinking duh! but you would be shocked to know how many people don't buckle their children safely in seats. I don't care if in the olden days you didn't have to, this is 2007 and you have to. In the olden days there weren't as many cars on roads or as many 'Ns' out there or even as many ESL people driving around without a clue. Buckle them up for Pete's sake!
- Toilet Training is a parents job. NOT the child's. If you are too lazy to do it I think it's disgusting that you would change the diaper of any baby over the age of 2 years. LAZY. I don't care if you don't think your kid is ready I think that's BS and if they can train monkeys & handicapped kids I think YOU can train your child, give your child some credit and show some respect for your position as a parent! Kids learn more from their parents in the first 5 years of their lives than they learn all through school! (bet'ch'a didn't know that)
I don't really know what else I wanted to say since I started this days ago but... here it is for what it's worth. I am Mer and I am parenting with a purpose, not by accident, or by mistake, for my future and theirs and this world.
On a whole other note their is this sextuplet thing on the news and...I think they should have just stayed out of it. Let the parents make the choices, survival of the fittest sucks but that's the way it is. Doesn't God have a better place for these babies? Don't JW's have a God that will look after them? and their babies even if that means they aren't going to live longer? I'm not saying it would be my choice to refuse the transfusion, but if that's their belief then can't we respect that?
Peace out.
P.S. If you choose to rant in the comments be prepared, I will stand my ground.
