On that note, don't e-mail me because I don't know when I can get to it. Call me on the phone. Thanks, I'll get back to blogging when the computer gets back to behaving.

Why would...
M-' what's that babe?'
G-'Why is that baby in the sea?'
M-'Which baby honey?'
G-'This one.' A little more frustrated now
M-'Oh, That's not the sea, and the baby is swimming'
G-'why do people put garbage in the sea?'
M-' That's not garbage it's money, and the baby is swimming to it'
G-' But WHY mommy?'
M-'it's how they made it' Almost surrendering to the I don't know.
So the question is does anybody know what Gabriel and I were looking at? I may even offer a prize. lol

New Hair
Just for comparison purposes here's some 'old' hair.
I love the new 'flat' hair...now I just need one of those flatteners and 20 mins every day to do it.
A little tradition for y'all
Michael ate 3 for a snack when he woke up and saw that we had baked them. Later he had 2 more with lunch and after that I had to hide them so that he would stop walking up to the counter pointing, and screaming for more. It's nice to still have one kids who eats what I tell him to. Not that Gabriel didn't eat the biscuits, just that he didn't eat anything else of much nutritional value that day.

These are just regular santa's with cheese in them. I'm flexible about what shapes we make, they don't always have to be circles.

Tomorrow I get a hair cut, oh man what am I going to have done? It's been ages and change is good.
I have 5 parties for November. (books)
I went to America today to exchange the bra that broke. I got a new one but it's not nearly as nice. I also bought a shirt, 2 books, and some dollar store crap.
Gabriel was an Angel today. So well behaved, such good listening and taking turns and doing what I asked, I wish every day were like this for he and I.
I need to sleep.

When good cookies go bad
Tonight I turned on the oven to preheat for dinner. I did not look inside because I never put stuff in the oven nor do I ever leave stuff in the oven. I know it's a storage space for some but not me.
Oven is heating up, children are playing, I am on the computer.
I smell cookies and think 'oh man now the oven smells like cookies when I turn it on I should really stop making cookies so much' (seriously this was my thought).
Then the smell changed from delicious cookies to burning cookies.
Then I opened the oven. The smoke alarm went off. Which woke Michael from his nap in a rather rude way.
I put the pan outside.
Apparently in all my wiseness (sp?) I put the last sheet of cookies in the oven and turned it off last night. They got cooked (and burned) today.
It's 8:30 and I am going to bed....after a cookie.
Book Blog
I have a book party in another town tomorrow night and I barely remember the hostess because I met her last February when I had just started my business. I think she might be a cousin of a cousin and I have a feeling that I might run into some people from the Land of Blog at her place. I could run into people on purpose but, I haven't called RW to see what she's up to. I will be in your town tomorrow night though...would you like to come to a book party? I know you are very busy and it's short notice but I'm sure the hostess won't mind. Call if you want to and I can give you details.
In other book news is there anyone out there who is interested in doing their Christmas shopping for FREE? It works like this : Your guests come over for some appies (and a drink), they buy some books and you get yours for FREE! All you really need is friends or acquaintances who want books for the children in their lives. The books sell themselves. I only have a few dates in November left so let me know NOW. Don't forget that I can do this all through e-mail too, you don't even have to serve snacks if you do it that way. The only catch in that way is that if you are in USA shipping is a bit more and...I'm not really suppose to sell to you.
The online catalogue www.usborne.ca/catalogue shop from there and order from ME.
Thank you for your continued support with my 'stay at home' business.

So Flo, when you gonna start a blog? And B in the W of AB, I know you have spare time where o' where for art thou blog? Or does the paranoia hold your thoughts hostage in your head? What if the bad guys come to get you? and eat your children? (I think you'd have a sense of relief wouldn't you?) lol. All in good fun!
****I will edit this post at the desire of those named in the list.****
New Post. Stop. Refresh.
Oh yeah, the 2 things I am planning on blogging about have pictures to go with them and I haven't gotten them off the camera yet (although I can do it on my own...I simply don't want to). Besides, I don't think it's letting me load pictures right now anyway.
We went to this birthday party in NV today and yikes! A pair of 1 year olds with lots of friends, sisters friends, and family. Gabriel had a good time picking up where he left off with his good buddy Cohen. S is expecting her daughter any day now after having spent the last 3 weeks on bed rest. The mother of the twins, T had her 40th last week. I admire her strength and ability to get through everyday tasks, it can't possibly be easy...oh no wait it can be when you have a nanny! I should be nice T, does as much of the stuff with her children as she can and when she can't then there's the nanny. I truly cannot imagine waiting til 36 to have kids, nor can I wrap my head around chasing babies, sleepless nights, and other infant tasks at 40. For those of you over 40 reading this I apologize but, really 40 is old in my books, the fact that I am not yet 30 might have something to do with that. I look forward to having a 25 year old when I am 50 not a 11 year old! Do the math! 60 and still 21 year old twins. Don't think me morbid but I want to see my boys marry (if that's what they want) and have their own kids (if that's what they want). I don't know if that will be possible for T. Really, if her twins follow in her footsteps she probably won't and if she does then it won't be for long enough to enjoy (and babysit) her grandchildren. okok enough, most of you know my soapbox slogan is HAVE THEM NOW! (you'll pay more later if you don't).
In other news while typing this I have been trying to load pictures and it won't. I have also tried (over the last few days) to update my links and surprise surprise it won't. I was going to change my profile pic and... it won't ( and the pictures aren't as good as I want them to be) I mean if I am going to divulge all my thoughts on this screen shouldn't I look the way I want? Did you know that studies show that people are more likely to open up when IMing or blogging than they do in person? I read it in an article on kids and IMing.
Anyhow GNight.

The pirate thing is now blocking the links list so...
I thought I better post this one too. They go together (duh!) Just watch them one after the other...I guess you'll get it. They were a couple of weeks ago already but as you can see this is not how I wanted the to load anyways and now I gave up and so here they are...suppose to be thumbnails except they are HUGE. Arg... and I bet you'll be opening a new window too.

P.S. Part 2 He walks WAY more than this now and WAY more steadily.
Just so the pirate thing isn't the first thing you see
So I just caught up on some blogs and I now have thanksgiving on my mind. I am not having a feast. I had one last month. I will be having pumpkin pie tomorrow though. I think I will make cookies too. (just because). A quick list of things I am thankful for in no particular order:
- Christopher
- Gabriel
- Michael
- My mom and how quickly she can be here IF I need her
- Chocolate covered Almonds made by Hershey's ...for sale $3/box (I have a case for preschool fundraiser)
- My dad and his ability to show up exactly when I am thinking about him.
- A roof over my head without psychos upstairs.
- Friendships...old and new getting better every day
- My sisters (I want to just leave it there girls, lets keep everything friendly please:))
- Santa Clause is coming to town!!! in 79 Days!!!
OK OK I know I got silly in there but I wanted 10 and couldn't come up with anything else without going further than I want to.

In case you were wondering
My pirate name is:
Iron Charity Bonney

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

Dinosauring
I suffer from this
Recently, I was diagnosed with C. A. A. D. D. - Child Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests:I decide to do the laundry. As I start toward the basement, I notice that there are cheerios all over the floor and my car keys are in the cereal bowl. I decide to pick up the cheerios before I do the laundry. I lay my car keys down on the counter, put the cheerios in the trash can under the counter, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to take out the trash. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash I may as well pay the bills first. I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left, my extra checks are in my desk in the office/playroom, so I go to my desk where I find a sippy cup full of juice. I'm going to look for my checks, but first I decide I should put the sippy cup in the refrigerator to keep it cold.As I head toward the kitchen with the sippy cup a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye -- they need to be watered. I set the sippy cup on the counter, and I discover baby wipes that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back in the bathroom, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the wipes back down, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote, one of the kids left it on the kitchen table. I realize that after school when they go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote as they fight over who lost it, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down, get some paper towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.At the end of the day: the laundry isn't washed, the bills aren't paid, there is a warm cup of juice sitting on the counter, the flowers aren't watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can't find the remote, I can't find the wipes, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys. Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail.(I think this primarily afflicts moms.. pass the word!)

Ahem
I had a wonderful night...going to bed...More later
Uhh huh
Youngest Sister, They have big gigantic flats of cranberries at Costco. And I am not planning anything for thanksgiving because it's too much $ to buy the bird and accessories.
Older Sister, The mail that was supposed to be going out Monday hasn't gone and I can't picture it leaving until Wednesday, Sorry it will be late :(. It shouldn't expire though.
Other Sister, I don't have anything to say but I thought I should address you too since I did the others.
Another birthday picture to keep you hanging on.

And if you are in this picture and don't want to be on the Internet, too bad, I did it anyway!
